Please follow these steps to collect assets from Aeons Echo and send them to me.

0. Prerequisites

  • Make sure that the scenes you want to share are new (not already archived)
  • A list of all archived scenes can be found here: Aeons Echo Changelog

1. Asset Download

  • If you have the game installed on an Android Phone / PC Emulator:
    • Launch the game on your phone (or Android Emulator on PC)
    • IMPORTANT: Click on each scene you've unlocked to ensure it's downloaded onto your device
      • For heroes this means you need to view every single animation for the different levels of that hero (Lv1, Lv1A, Lv2, Lv2A, Lv3).
    • Close the game
    • Connect your phone to your PC via USB (not neccessary on an emulator)
    • Allow file transfer via USB Some phones (like Samsung) also require being unlocked during file access
    • Open your phones (or emulators) storage via your file manager on your PC
    • Navigate to: Internal Storage/Android/data/com.lfg.rp/files
    • Copy the whole Assets folder to a temporary location on your PC (Emulator: copy everything to the android-pc-shared directory)
  • If you have the game installed on a Windows PC via Steam:
    • Launch the game via Steam
    • IMPORTANT: Click on each scene you've unlocked to ensure it's downloaded onto your PC
      • For heroes this means you need to view every single animation for the different levels of that hero (Lv1, Lv1A, Lv2, Lv2A, Lv3).
    • Close the game
    • Navigate to: %userprofile%/AppData/LocalLow/lfg/AEONS_ECHO
      • You can copy the above path into your file explorers url bar
      • %userprofile% = C:/Users/{Your Username}/

2. Archive

  • Create an ZIP-Archive of the Assets folder via one of the following methods:
  • If you have 7-Zip installed (preferred):
    • Right click on the new folder
    • Select 7-Zip>Add to archive...; a 7-Zip window shows up
    • Set Archive format to 7z
    • Set Compression level to 9 - Ultra
    • Leave every other setting unchanged
    • Confirm with [OK]
    • After waiting for a bit, you should now have a new file called Assets.zip
  • If you have WinRAR installed:
    • Right click on the new folder
    • Select Send to>Compressed (zipped) folder; a WinRAR window shows up
    • Set Archive format to RAR
    • Set Compression method to Best
    • Leave every other setting unchanged
    • Confirm with [OK]
    • After waiting for a bit, you should now have a new file called Assets.rar
  • None of the above:
    • Please download and install 7-Zip from here: https://7-zip.org/, then follow the steps for 7-Zip above
    • You probably need the Windows x64 (64-bit) variant
    • The Windows integrated zip method does not work, because some file names contain invalid characters

3. Upload

  • Upload the archive file (Assets.zip or Assets.rar) to one of the following file sharing services and send me the shared link via mod-mail on Reddit
  • Upload to Mega (preferred)
    • If you don't have an account yet, create a new (free) account here: https://mega.nz/register
    • Once you've completed the registration process, open the Mega Cloud drive
    • Drag and drop the archive file into your browser window and into the Cloud drive frame
    • Confirm and wait until the upload is completed (bottom left)
    • In the Cloud drive, right click on the uploaded archive file and select Share Link
    • In the share window, click on [Copy link]
    • Send me the link via mod-mail on Reddit
    • Sometimes Reddit bans mega links, in that case, you can just send me the file-id and password
      • From: https://mega.nz/file/ABCabc123#defHIJ456789
      • To: File-Id: ABCabc123 Password: defHIJ456789
  • Upload to G-Drive
    • Open "My Drive" on G-Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/my-drive
    • Drag and drop the archive file into your browser window and into the My Drive frame
    • Confirm and wait until the upload is completed
    • In the My Drive frame, right click on the uploaded archive file and select Share>Copy link
    • Make sure the file permissions are set to Anyone with the link
    • Send me the link via mod-mail on Reddit
  • Any other platform with public access is fine too
